The Living City is a location in the Altar of Hope where the player may spend 
candles to unlock and improve Heroes.
Heroes
Each hero has their own track, and as the player spends candles to progress further along the track, they can unlock the following:

- The hero's Signature Inn Item

Bounty Hunter
Bounty Hunter's progression track differs somewhat from other Heroes. He requires 5 Candles of Hope to unlock before he can be hired at the Inn. He does not gain upgrades to his stats, new Hero Paths, or a Signature Item, but gains new skills (as opposed to unlocking new skills at the Shrine of Reflection) and Hero Trinkets through his progression track. Bounty Hunter requires 45 candles to fully upgrade.
