Strategy
- Bloodsuckers have fairly diverse resistant stats, but are on the whole most susceptible to
Blight, and secondarily weak to
Burn, though most Damage Over Time will suffice, as none of their DoT Resistances are particularly high in comparison to other factions. - Bloodsuckers make heavy use of
Combo tokens for
Stuns and
Healing, having items or skills that either clear combo or ways to divert attacks away from targets with Combo such as
Taunt or
Guarded can make several of the Courtiers skills less dangerous - Bloodsuckers primarily use
Dodge and
Dodge+ for their defense. Bringing moves such as Tracking Shot or Illumination to either remove or deny Dodge generation can make them much less frustrating to combat, as without Dodge most Courtiers are somewhat fragile
Swarms are support units focused on applying Negative tokens,
Stress,
Combo and
Bleed, but are extremely fragile once their initial
Dodge+ has been removed. Unlike other Bloodsuckers, the Swarm cannot be
Bled, but can be
Blighted or
Burnt.
Esquires are high-damage frontline units sporting both
Dodge and
Riposte in great amounts, as well as the ability to ignore
Block. Despite their damage, it is recommended to try to keep these units in the front ranks, as if they end up in rank 3 or 4 (with no ally behind) they gain access to The Thirst, which greatly buffs them with Positive Tokens, has a chance to apply Crimson Curse and has a
Heal effect.
Chevaliers are backline enemies with high direct and
Bleed damage as well as a potent
Stun and
skill, but are extremely weak once pulled into the front ranks. Chevaliers are also very weak to
Stun themselves, so skills which inflict Stun or
Daze should be considered when potentially facing them
