Strategy

Chevaliers are backline units whose primary threat comes from their substantial Bleed Bleed output, as well as a potentially lethal Combo Combo interaction that can leave teams extremely heavily disrupted if it has a chance to go off. Similar to most backline units however, Chevaliers are substantially less threatening when brought forward, either by killing any ally Bloodsuckers they spawn with, or by MovePulling them forwards into the front two ranks.

The biggest threat Chevaliers pose is the Combo interaction they have with Buried Blast, as it will both MoveShuffle a target hit by this attack, as well as Stun Stun them if they had Combo applied. Skills like Jesters mastered Play Out, Leper's Reflection or items such as Holy Water which all remove Combo are very useful for dealing with this attack, as well as GuardedGuarding any allies who have Combo, though be aware that this attack will still Shuffle the target even without Combo. Attacks that can bring Chevalier into ranks 1 or 2 are also useful, as in Rank 1 they are forced to use Slither, which is low damage with no extra effects beyond moving Chevalier backwards
