Enrage and Berserk
Enrage
- +1 DMG dealt per

- Round End: Become
Berserk when stacked to 3
- Duration: Until end of combat
- Limit: 3
Berserk
Notes
- On turn end, an enemy with
will gain two negative tokens that cannot be resisted, including up to 2
Weak , 1
Vulnerable and/or 1
Daze. - The -DMG taken modifier only to direct attacks (not
Damage over Time), and it stacks additively with
Vulnerable.
Strategy
- Most Beastmen are resistant to
Blight, but weak to
Burn,
Bleed, and
Stun. Should one skip their turn with a
token, the powerful attack is prevented, while they still suffer the exhaustion penalty afterwards. The Veteran Fighter’s Leading Strike is very potent against the faction due to this. - Beastmen enemies are adept at applying negative tokens and generating positive tokens. Consider prioritising skills with token manipulation, such as Highwayman's Highway Robbery, Occultist's Weakening Curse or Vulnerability Hex, Leper's Break, or Man-at-arms' Bellow to remove Riposte. Trinkets with token manipulation such as Footman's Grog, Emancipation, or Pilfered Wealth can also be useful.
- Nearly all Beastmen can punish low-damage multiple-rank attacks. These skills can increase their
Enrage tokens. Consider bringing single-rank skills or combat items to the fight.
The Huntsman are exclusively frontrank-to-front or back rank-to-back attackers for moderate damage and
Weak. They gain
Enrage whenever they CRIT, miss an attack, and if a Huntsman or Tribewalker dies.
Tribewalkers use
Riposte,
Blight,
Stress, and
Stun to disrupt the party. They gain
Enrage whenever they are moved, so prioritize any adjacent pair should to be killed or separated.
The Tribecaller supports by adding
Enrage and
Strength to allies, and debuffing the heroes with
Vulnerable and increased
Blight taken. They cannot use Pestilence or Violent Skies in the front, nor gain Enrage if by themselves.
Rotclaws are high-damage, high-health enemies capable of dealing heavy
Blight and
Bleed, inflicting
Horror, debuffing heroes with
Vulnerable and shuffling them with
Knockback. Rot Claws also have a chance to gain
Enrage by getting hit, making them a dangerous enemy to leave alive for extended fights
The Alpha Rotclaw is largely identical to its non-Alpha counterpart, but must be fought after two waves of other Beastmen, meaning players should be ready for a long fight when preparing to confront him
The Meat Post is a support unit in the Meat Hook fight, and is invulnerable to any form of damage, but when attacked it will lose positive tokens which can help prevent Meat Hook from buffing himself with tokens.
Meat Hook is a battle of endurance, damage, and token management, with the boss sporting enormous health and damage, as well as a permanent support unit that buffs the boss with Positive tokens and Healing. Bringing heroes and skills that can readily remove positive tokens, particularly
Crit, is extremely helpful for this fight for both decreasing the damage the boss deals as well as reducing how many
Enrage tokens the boss can receive
