The Shrine of Reflection is a node in Darkest Dungeon II where heroes confront episodes from their past and unlock new skills in the process.

Upon entering the Shrine, the player must choose one of their current heroes to relive a chapter from their past. Some chapters consist of a short narration, while others present challenges in the form of combat-based mini-games. Successfully completing a chapter will unlock additional skills for the hero, and when the current party has unlocked all their skills, no further Shrines of Reflection will spawn.
