The Valley is the first Region traversed in every run in Darkest Dungeon II. It functions as a sort of tutorial region, and unlike other regions, its encounters are fixed instead of random.

- A road battle against Gaunts
- The Inn at the end of the valley will always be The Torch & Crown.
