Oversized pests strengthened by the corruption, Webbers are giant spiders that now prey on larger game, including humans. Their main strategy for hunting is to launch bundles of webbing at a target to ensnare them and reduce their ability to move. Once a target has been immobilized, they then launch a barrage of venom that hobbles them further. Once prey has been been sufficiently weakened, they move in and deliver the death blow via a venomous bite.
They are found in every region of the Estate, except for the Cove.
Behavior
When encountered, they will appear in as a pair in the front ranks with Spitters behind them. At a cursory glance, they appear to be little more than nuisances due to their low health and resistances, lack of protection and moderately weak attacks. However, they are substantially more threatening than they appear as they are very fast, highly evasive and capable of inflicting a number of debilitating status effects. They will primarily use their Web ability to Stun heroes and Mark them for the Spitters, who deal double damage to Marked targets. Because of this, it is best to squish these pests first.
