The Sleeper's Herald is a Husk type enemy found only in the Farmstead.

Behavior

The Sleeper's Herald only has one ability, Reality Bend, which it will use every turn. It has the standard mark bias of 2x/3x/4x. Reality Bend inflicts minor stress, debuffs to the hero's Healing Received and ACC, as well as a chance to cause a hero to attack a random enemy instead of their intended target.

It will also spawn with a permanent Riposte that cannot be disabled; it will deal only minor damage (though still more than Reality Bend), but may inflict a debuff for an increase in received stress.

Strategy

The Sleeper's Herald has powerful defenses, with massive resistances and 45% PROT. It has a permanent Riposte, which, while weak, will give a debuff for increased stress. However, its base health is minuscule, and any armor piercing attacks like the Shieldbreaker's Pierce or the Grave Robber's Pick to the Face, or even just a very high-damage attack like the Leper's Chop, will certainly be enough to destroy it in one hit; otherwise, expect a Riposte and possible debuff.

The debuff on Reality Bend can be incredibly disruptive, as it not only significantly decreases a hero's ACC but can cause their offensive abilities to target a random enemy instead of whatever was selected. It's recommended to use Medicinal Herbs to clear the debuff, or, if none are available, use AoE or heal/buff moves, which cannot be affected by Random Target Chance.
