Districts

Districts are a special kind of town building available only in
The Crimson Court and
The Color of Madness DLCs. Districts are expensive, requiring a large number of heirlooms, gold, and a new currency, Blueprints, and they provide bonuses to many aspects of the game, including hero stat increases, curio interactions, and passive bonuses to the hamlet.
The first blueprint is awarded in a special town event between weeks 7 to 10; subsequent blueprints require defeating a Veteran or Champion Boss. This makes the choice of the first District very important, since it will be many weeks before a second blueprint can be acquired.
Districts
The gold cost of most districts is significantly reduced in Radiant Mode, as shown in parentheses below.

Notes
- The blueprint event will not occur if there is another event the same week, so during week 9 it is important to choose an expedition that will not trigger an event.
- Only expedition bosses (for example, the Necromancer) will drop blueprints. Mini-bosses, such as The Collector, The Shambler, or The Fanatic, will not.
- The amount of food generated by the granary is randomly generated and can be rerolled by exiting to the main menu. A mod exists to make the granary always give 10 food.

Trivia
- The only District to not change prices between modes is the Outsiders Bonfire.
- The Red Hook is named after the development team behind Darkest Dungeon.
- It is also the only District that doesn't give any direct benefits to the player.
