The Runaway is a hero in Darkest Dungeon II.

Runaway is a mobile support hero with a heavy focus on BurnBurn damage, with much of her moveset focused on inflicting or spreading burn through the enemy ranks. Runaways moveset functions well with her as both a front and back rank hero, able to assist her allies both with Damage Over Time as well as MoveShuffling, DebuffDebuffing or ComboComboing enemies for her allies to take advantage of. By herself however Runaway can be much weaker, possessing low damage on many of her skills and relying primarily on BurnBurn to get most of her damage. Additionally she is rather fragile, with limited defense outside of StealthStealth and RegenerationRegen

Unique Attributes

A token applied to a rank, repeatedly inflicting Burn on the enemy occupying the rank. The Burn burn applied by this token is not affected by any of Runaway's modifiers to Burn res pierce, dealt, or duration.

All other skills must be unlocked through the Shrine of Reflection, after which they are permanently available for subsequent playthroughs.

Hero Paths

All Heroes start the game on the default Wanderer path, which rewards Candles of Hope candles upon reaching the second Inn but has no other effects. Other paths may be unlocked in The Living City by spending Candles of Hope Candles of Hope.
