The Wharf Rat is a Fisherfolk enemy in Darkest Dungeon II encountered only in The Shroud.
Description
A simple seaman, working on the docks of the seaside hamlet and on the ships sailing there, the Wharf Rat succumbed to his new god and was turned into a vessel for the unnatural sealife. His movements are now guided by the jellyfish devouring his flesh, scratching away at everything that could represent a threat to his god.
The Wharf Rat is a relatively weak, common enemy, having more tools for annoyance than killing.

Strategy
Wharf Rats are essentially the goons of the Fisherfolk faction. Being able to Stealth is generally the biggest threat of them, as they can stall out a fight you could otherwise finish quicker. Attacks that remove or pierce stealth are helpful but moving them forward to leave Briny Spray range can work just as well. They are very low priority threats, and their biggest strength is mostly keeping more threatening units in the ranks for them to attack.
